HVAC Lead Installers

Certified Heating and Cooling, an area leader in the HVAC industry, is looking to hire GREAT installers. We are looking for well-qualified individuals who are goal-oriented and want to see themselves AND the company succeed.

We’re looking for individuals with at least two (2) years of experience in the HVAC field. Specifically, those individuals who are motivated and understand the excellent potential that can be achieved as an HVAC technician/installer.

Requirements

  • Have 2+ years of experience
  • Must have his or her own tools
  • Must own your tools or be able to purchase them
  • Have a clean driving record and be in good standing with a Driver’s License
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
  • Present a well-groomed, clean, professional appearance
  • Exceptional work ethic; punctuality and attendance
  • Excellent communication skills with team members and customers

HVAC Installer Helper

As a helper, you will be assisting in the installation of HVAC systems under the supervision of a lead installer. Experience is not necessary but is preferred. Must be a team player and willing to learn.

This opportunity offers a great work environment working alongside skilled, knowledgeable and helpful lead installers who will be able to provide a wealth of knowledge and continuous training. This is a long-term position that offers the opportunity to learn a trade that will provide endless opportunity for career progression and growth.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Some Saturday Work Required

Experience:

• HVAC Installation: 1 year (Required)

 

HVAC Service Technicians

We are looking for an individual who has at least four (4) years of experience as a Service Technician, specifically, at least one (1) year in the HVAC field.

  • EPA Section 608 Certification (Required)

Work authorization:

Schedule:

  • 10-hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability required

Supplemental Pay:

Lead Electrical Technicians

We’ve been in the HVAC business since 2006 and expanded into Electrical in 2021.

Requirements:

  • Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code (NEC)
  • Using testing devices to discover why electrical products and systems are malfunctioning
  • Inspecting circuit breakers, transformers, and other electrical components for faults
  • Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools
  • Forming electrical circuits, by connecting electrical wires to components and fixtures and testing completed circuits
  • Installing switches, circuit breakers, relays, and other electrical control and distribution equipment
  • Repairing, replacing and upgrading faulty or outdated electrical equipment, fixtures, and wiring, including isolating faults for safe removal and replacement
  • Installation of Whole Home Generator Systems
  • Installation of Whole Home Transfer Switches

**This position consists of heavy residential and some light commercial service work**

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime

Supplemental Pay:

  • Bonus pay
  • Signing bonus

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Electrical Experience: 5 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Preferred)

 

Electrical Helpers

As a helper, you will be assisting the electrical team under the supervision of a lead electrical technician. Experience is not necessary but is preferred. Must be a team player and willing to learn.

Apprenticeships

No training? No experience? No four-year degree? No problem! We’re always hiring for Installers and Service Technician Apprentices. If you are hard-working, take pride in the quality of your work, are a great communicator and enjoy working with your hands, we have a position for you! Whether you are experienced in HVAC or are willing to learn on the job, Certified Heating and Cooling is the place for you!
