HVAC Installation Technician
HVAC Installation Technicians play a vital role within a team that promotes company culture and growth.
They create profitability throughout the installations department with leadership and continued training.
This position requires dedication, reliability, and consistency.
Job Duties:
Expertly execute the installation of a variety of HVAC systems and equipment, following precise manufacturer guidelines with a complete understanding of blueprints, electrical schematics, and duct drawings for proper HVAC layout and installation.
Proficiently perform system startup and troubleshoot various residential HVAC systems.
Monitor and calibrate air handling units ensuring proper installation including verification that the drain line is free of debris and draining properly.
Coordinate with other departments to continually improve the process and flow of information. Request necessary parts & equipment needed in advance and verify the truck is loaded properly with all materials needed.
Track repairs and cork completed in trade software, ServiceTitan.
Provide guidance to assistants or apprentices and share knowledge.
Maintain knowledge of current HVAC codes and standards.
Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety act (OSHA) requirements.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
- Two (2) years of experience as HVAC Installation Technician.
- Valid Florida Driver’s License or ability to obtain one required.
- EPA Certification preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Advanced ability in decision making and problem solving.
- Demonstrated aptitude for working independently with minimal supervision.
- Comfort and proficiency in working efficiently in confined spaces, prioritizing safety, and quality in all tasks.
- Adaptability to changing priorities, schedules, and requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail is a must.
- Google Business Suite experience is a plus, but Microsoft Office experience will translate.
- Proficiency with documents and spreadsheets required.
- ServiceTitan knowledge is preferred.
- High school or equivalent is preferred.
- Background and Drug Screening is required prior to employment.
Schedule
Monday – Friday
Some weekends may be required.
